Samsung Smart TV Deal: 40-inch 1080p HDTV: $317.99 (Save $212)

By Chris Boylan

Not everyone (or every room) needs a giant TV. Sometimes 40 inches is plenty. Whether for a bedroom or a smaller living room, a 40 inch HDTV may be just what you're looking for. And if you are, then you might want to check out this deal on Amazon for Samsung's UN40J5200. It's a 40-inch 1080p Smart LED TV for just $317.99 with free shipping. That's $212 below its regular list price.

Here's the Link:

This is a 2015 model year TV (not a leftover from last year), and it offers full HD 1080p resolution, as well as Smart TV features so you can stream movies from Netflix or Amazon or listen to music from Pandora (with many other streaming apps and services available as well). This TV is a native 60 Hz panel, so it may not be quite as effective at motion reproduction as a 120 Hz or 240 Hz TV, but this tends to make more of a difference on larger screen sizes.

You'll find two HDMI ports on board, 1 USB port, a combined component/compositive video input and built in WiFi wireless networking. On the audio side, the unit features DTS Premium sound and 10 watts of power to the internal speakers. It also includes both a fiberoptic digital output and a minijack analog audio input for connection to a soundbar or external speaker system.
