Monster Gets into Gaming with Fatal1ty

By Rachel Cericola

Monster has had a lot of success in the audio business. Now, they are getting into the game---or at least, they are getting into the gaming business.

The company just announced plans to launch a series of audio solutions and gaming products. To make sure gamers know that Monster will be a monster in this category, they have recruited Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel to help launch the new lineup.

The 12x world champion gamer and founder of the award winning collection of Fatal1ty Gaming Gear products will work with Monster to launch the Fatal1ty by Monster lineup. That line will include audio solutions and gaming products at an affordable price that shouldn't cut too much into the typical gamer's budget.

"I wanted to partner with Noel Lee, the Head Monster and founder of Monster, because of his leadership in innovation and product expertise and the fact that he designs the best headphones in the world. I'm always on the lookout for innovations that will give me that extra competitive edge, and by teaming with Monster, Noel brings his vast expertise and engineering resources to gaming, creating products purpose built to help deliver gamers the competitive advantage" said Fatal1ty. "Noel has created countless innovations in consumer electronics and knows what it takes to win and how to bring winning products to market. Of importance to me is that Noel is also on the same page when it comes to supporting gaming events and the gaming communities that make all this possible."

Currently, there's no word on what the Fatal1ty by Monster lineup will include, but the two entities have already started collaborating. Look for the first of the Fatal1ty by Monster products to launch sometime during the 2015 holiday shopping season.
