A virtually identical remake of the 1997 blockbuster which offers almost nothing new and suffers from a sloppy, unsubstantial plot and the loss of Vincent D'Onofrio as an interesting villain. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are fun as always, but the script feels like scenes that didn't make the cut in the first film.
