SNL writer/co-star Tina Fey introduces the John Hughes genre to a new generation with a witty, knowing script and a perky performance by Lindsay Lohan as a homeschooler making her way through Junior year in high school. It's not a classic, but it's an above-average and refreshingly smart teen comedy.
