LED TV Deals: Panasonic 40-inch 1080p HDTV: $349.99 Shipped (TC-40AS520U)

By Rachel Cericola

Retailers aren't the only ones who appreciate a good Black Friday frenzy. Several manufacturers are offering to sell direct to the consumer this week, slashing prices on some of their most popular products. We're seeing some especially interesting deals from Panasonic.

Right now, the manufacturer is offering to sell its 40-inch TC-40AS520U LED HDTV at a discount, right on the company's website. The set typically sells for $529.99. However, Panasonic is slashing $180 off of that price -- but only for a limited time. That means that you can snag this set for a mere $349.99, which includes free shipping.

This set has a full 1080p resolution, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate and 240 BLB (Back Light Blinking) to deliver an extra-sharp image. However, it also has Panasonic's Life+ Screen Smart TV interface, which allows viewers to customize the home screen so everything is easily accessible. That includes live TV, video-on-demand, personal videos and photos, and more. Find out more about this TV and this deal on Panasonic.com:

Other features include content and apps through Panasonic's my Home Cloud, on-screen access to tons of popular apps such as Netflix and YouTube, and Remote Sharing so you can leave messages for family members right on the TV. Another notable feature is Swipe & Share. This allows you to transfer content from your smartphone or tablet to the big screen, all with one swipe.

Just remember that this TV is being offered through Panasonic and they are including free shipping with the purchase price. No promo code is required for this deal, but the sale price is only good from November 27-28, 2014, or whenever the company runs out of stock.
