Integra Unveils DTR-70.4 11.1-Channel A/V Receiver, iPod/iPad Dock and ADM-20 Power Amp

Integra is kicking off the CEDIA festivities slightly early. Later this week, manufacturers will demo and debut a wide variety of products at the 2012 CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, Integra is getting a jump on the flood of AV announcements, adding three new products to its lineup.

At the top of the new trio is the DTR-70.4 THX Ultra2 Plus 9.2-channel network audio-video receiver. The new model is a real standout because it can deliver the 11.1-channel capabilities of DTS Neo:X by using preamp outputs for the extra channels. It also includes the InstaPrevue feature, which provides a picture-in-picture peek at HDMI sources, as well as Mobile High-definition Link (MHL) for video from smart devices and Roku's new Streaming Stick.

Other features on the DTR-70.4 include THX Ultra2 Plus Certification, Zone 2 HDMI and powered Zones 2, 3 and 4. It also has Audyssey MultEQ XT32 automated room set-up equalization, which can deliver the ideal level for each speaker, as well as multi-channel upmixing from DTS Neo:X, Audyssey DSX, and Dolby Pro Logic IIz. And if you want to add in some of your favorite AV devices (and you'll want to do that), the DTR-70.4 has nine HDMI connections, a front-panel HDMI/MHL port, two USB ports, Ethernet, and optional WiFi and Bluetooth adapters.

The second of the new announcements is the Integra DMI-40.4 Dock. Designed for use with every Integra receiver ever made (even the older ones!), the DMI-40.4 can add iPod, iPhone and iPad connectivity into that receiver setup, as well as AirPlay and networking features. The DMI-40.4 is also compatible with the Crestron eControl and AMX Duet. No USB port or Ethernet connection is needed. Instead, the DMI-40.4 uses an RI (Remote Interactive) cable to create the connection between the dock and the receiver.

Last, but certainly not least, is the ADM-20.4, a 75-watt 2-channel power amplifier. This piece is specifically designed for remote Zone locations or to add those extra channels for DTS Neo:X.

Integra is shipping all three of the new products to dealers now. The DTR-70.4 receiver is priced at $2800, with the DMI-40.4 dock costing $250 and the ADM-20.4 power amplifier listed at $350.
