HDTV Deals: Big Discounts on Select Samsung LED and Plasma TVs (2012 and 2013 models)
We're right in the middle of March Madness. If you've been watching all of those games on an old TV, it's hard to say that you're really "enjoying" anything. Looking to get into the game and actually stay there? Instead of checking your brackets, you should probably check out the Samsung HDTVs that are currently being discounted on Amazon.
From now through Saturday, March 30, 2013, Amazon is discounting 19 different Samsung HDTVs. These aren't returned models and low sellers, either. The retailer has plenty of popular plasma and LED options currently available, in sizes ranging from 22 to 65 inches. There are also models available with plenty of drool-worthy features, such 3D effects and web streaming. Find out more about all of the options currently selling on Amazon's main TV sale page:
If you're looking for something large with all of the bells and whistles, check out Samsung's 65-inch UN65ES8000 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV. This was one of the top models for Samsung in 2012. It has a full 1080p HD image, active 3D technology, a dual-core processor and Samsung's Micro Dimming Ultimate technology. It also has all sorts of smart TV goodies, such as built-in WiFi, Smart TV with Signature Services, a Smart Touch Remote, and Smart Interaction features, such as gesture control, voice navigation and face recognition. This model also comes with four pairs of 3D glasses for in-your-face viewing right out of the box. Find out more about this model on Amazon's product page:
If you're more of a plasma person, you're in luck! Samsung is one of three manufacturers still making TVs with the popular technology. And you can't really go wrong with Samsung's 64-inch PN64E550 1080p 600Hz 3D Slim Plasma HDTV. This model also has active 3D, a 1080p image, built-in WiFi and Smart TV, as well as three HDMI inputs and two USB ports. This one also provides 3D viewing right out of the box, since Samsung is bundling each model with two pairs of 3D glasses. Find out more about the PN64E550 on Amazon's product page:
If you're just looking to squeeze a little HD into a smaller area of the home, this promotion also includes the Samsung 22-inch UN22D5003 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV. This is a 2011 model and the smallest being offered in this promotion. It doesn't have any 3D or smart TV features, but it does have a full 1080p image, two HDMI inputs and a USB port. Find out more about this model on Amazon:
Just remember that when you buy one of these models, you should buy from Amazon -- not one of the retailer's third-party merchants. Amazon is hosting this huge sale (through March 30, 2013), which includes free shipping on each purchase. Check out each model to see what else the retailer is offering. However, at last peek, it looked like each TV was also being covered by Amazon's TV Low Price Guarantee. That basically means that if you can find the exact same TV for less within 14 days of the ship date, Amazon will refund you on the difference in price.
