DISH and T-Mobile Partner to Offer Unlimited Video Streaming from Sling TV Without Data Charges

By Rachel Cericola

We want TV everywhere. We want it at home, at work, at the gym, on a beach, and even in the car. (Just please, only watch while you're in the passenger seat!) Mobile devices make that sort of access possible.

Of course, the one thing we don't always love about having that kind of access is how it eats into your data plan. Well, if you have T-Mobile and Sling TV, that's no longer a worry.

DISH just announced Binge On, a program that will allow Sling TV subscribers to enjoy unlimited streaming video on T-Mobile smartphones and tablets, all without using LTE data. That means you can enjoy unlimited TV, movies, sports, and more, all without the need to think about data caps.

Not a Sling TV subscriber yet? If you have a qualifying T-Mobile Simple Choice plan, you can score a free 7-day Sling TV trial or 30 percent off 12 months of Sling TV's "Best of Live TV" package. There is a bit of other fine print -- so make sure you read it before signing up!

Sling TV's "Best of Live TV" package includes live, unlimited access to channels such as ESPN, TNT, TBS, AMC, Adult Swim, Disney Channel, Food Network, HGTV, Cartoon Network, Polaris+, and so much more. The service also offers add-on packages for sports, Spanish TV, kids programming, and more, for an extra $5 per month. There's even an option to get HBO for an extra $15 each month.

"We know many of you like to tune in to Sling TV on your mobile devices to catch live sports and other must-watch moments in real-time. Until today, this habit required you to nervously monitor your data usage as it climbed toward your monthly data cap," said Glenn Eisen, CMO of Sling TV. "Understandably, overusing data is a significant pain point for our customers. At Sling TV, our mission is to simplify your TV experience by eliminating traditional pay-TV pain points like long-term contracts, big package bundles and high prices, while giving you the ability to watch your favorite shows now."

The Binge On program officially kicks off on Sunday, November 15. Check out the Binge On website linked below for all of the sign-up information.
